Student Agency & Problem- solving with Technology

BISP Phuket

A group of IB students from the British International School Phuket produced a prosthetic arm and change the life of a 5-year-old girl that had lost her left arm due to amniotic band syndrome. After being contacted by the girl’s father, who read about the 3D printing capability at the school, the CAS team dedicated their time to skillfully plan and execute the 3D project. The initiative was shortlisted for the International School Awards 2021.
